Who:            People 18+, who can sing and act
 
Volunteer - No Pay
 
Prepare: A two minute song from a musical. Accompanist will be provided, bring music. (Please, no background CD or unaccompanied singing)
There will be improvisation and movement auditions as well.
 
No appointment needed. Arrive a little before 2:00pm
 
What to bring:
Bring headshot (non-professional is fine )
Personal Calendar (check for date conflicts )
Theater Resume (optional )
You will fill out a short informational sheet upon arrival
 
Plan on staying for entire block of time, unless pre-arranged

Auditions for Sealegs – Board to Death
An interactive murder mystery to be performed in March 2012.

Audition Date: January 24, 2012

Time: 7pm

Place: Magenta Theater, 606 Main Street, Vancouver. Enter through side door in parking lot, please.

Parts Available:

Julia Johnson (f) A vibrant, middle-aged widow who embraces life to its fullest
Martha Doyle(f) Julia’s mousy, introverted friend
Tallulah (f) The Vamp. A man-eater, frequent cruise passenger (singing role)
Ted Doyle (m) Martha’s ex-husband, a worthless character
Seamus (m) Very pleasant unmarried archeologist on his fifth cruise.

Staff
Bartender Bob (m/f) Undercover operative for United International Security Bureau
Mr. Banks (m) Assistant Purser, also bubbly, always wears a fake lei.

All volunteer, no pay. There is a written script but the ability to improvise and ad lib is highly desired.

Rehearsals are in the evenings from 6:30 – 9:30pm
February 27, 29
March 1, 2, 5, 7, 12, 13, 19, 20, 22 (final dress)

Performances March 23, 24, 25, 30, 31. Possibly March 28 also. All are evening performances.
