Shakespeare's rollicking comedy about a lady Doctor and her journey. As in most delicious Shakespearean Comedies there is no end to the intrigues and plots. One crazy character after another frame the life of this woman out of her time. A fast paced roller coaster ride through the mind of the most famous English Playwright of all time.

Godspell, one of the biggest off-Broadway and Broadway successes, was
conceived and originally directed by John-Michael Tebelak. Music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz. Godspell was originally produced on the New York Stage by Edgar Lansbury, Stuart Duncan and Joseph Beruh.

Godspell is an energetic musical based on the life of Jesus from the book of Matthew. Godspell features many recognizable songs. The contemporary presentation brings the ancient story of Jesus to life for the 21st century. Family members of all ages will enjoy this performance.

Performances at The Washburn Performing Arts Center, Washougal High School.

"Asian Melodies"

Vancouver, WA - Explore the folk music, spirituality, and mystery of the Far East at the Southwest Washington Wind Symphony's presentation of "Asian Melodies" on Sunday, June 6, at 3:00 pm at the Union High School auditorium. Musical selections include "Variations on a Korean Folksong" by John Barnes Chance, "Double Happiness" from "Tea in Chinese Camp" by Joseph Curiale, and excerpts from Rodgers and Hammerstein's "South Pacific."
The SW Washington Wind Symphony is a 55 - member, professional quality concert band concluding its fifth season with this concert. The group's mission is to promote an appreciation of wind band music and support music education and the performing arts in SW Washington. Seventy percent of members are music educators from the Clark county area and others are talented musicians from a variety of professions.
All SW Washington Wind Symphony concerts are FREE and open to the public.
Union High School is located at 6201 NW Friberg-Strunk Street in Camas, Washington.
