Portland Youth Philharmonic Brings Wind Ensemble, Conservatory
Orchestra, and Young String Ensemble to Vancouver for a Public Concert
at Skyview High School
The Portland Youth Philharmonic's Wind Ensemble, Conservatory Orchestra, and Young String Ensemble will present a concert at Skyview Auditorium, 1300 NW 139th St. in Vancouver, WA on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 4:00 p.m.
Highlights on the program will include Herbert Owen Reed's La Fiesta
Mexicana, Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition, and much more.

The Portland Youth Philharmonic Association, founded in 1924, is
America's first youth orchestra and today consists of four ensembles.
Members of the PYP Association come from throughout the region, range in age from 7 to 23, and are chosen by audition each June for the following school year. For more information, go to
