Local piano virtuoso, Cinda Goold Redman, joins the wind symphony to perform George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue." Along with a wealth of experience in music education, television, and the recording industry, Ms. Redman is past president of the Clark County Music Teachers' Association and is District IV Vice President of the SW Washington region of the Wa shington State Music Teachers' Association. =0D=0A=
 The SW Washington Wind Symphony is a 55-member, professional quality concert band; 70% are music educators from the Clark county area and others are talented musicians from a variety of professions. “Our mission is to encourage a better understanding and appreciation of wind band music and support the performing arts in SW Washington,” said Richard Carr, co-founder and event coordinator. =0D=0A=

 	An American mezzo-soprano, Ms. Hawley has achieved accolades for her critically-acclaimed performances of roles ranging from Carmen to Cherubino in opera houses throughout the United States. She has worked with the Washington Opera, Opera Company of Philadelphia, New Orleans Opera, New York City Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Utah Opera, Opera Festival of New Jersey and Boston Lyric Opera, among others.  	Christopher Zimmerman is music director of the Symphony of Southeast Texas. Previously, he was music director of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and of the Hartt Symphony.  He received his BA from Yale and his MA from the University of Michigan. =0D=0A=
