 Vancouver, WA - The SW Washington Wind Symphony celebrates the ocean's majesty in its "Songs of the Sea" concert on Sunday, March 1, at 3:00 pm at the Union High School auditorium. From "Victory at Sea" by Richard Rodgers to "Sea Songs" by Ralph Vaughan Williams, the performance presents a range of musical images including rousing naval adventure and soothing contemplative sunsets. =0D=0A=

 The SW Washington Wind Symphony is a 55-member, professional quality concert band; 70% are music educators from the Clark county area and others are talented musicians from a variety of professions. “Our mission is to encourage a better understanding and appreciation of wind band music and support the performing arts in SW Washington,” said Richard Carr, co-founder and event coordinator. =0D=0A=
