 Vancouver, WA - The SW Washington Wind Symphony opens its fourth season by showcasing band classics from the early 20th century and the "Blues" in their concert on Sunday, November 2, at 3:00 pm at the Mountain View High School auditorium. Local piano virtuoso, Cinda Goold Redman, joins the wind symphony to perform George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue." Along with a wealth of experience in music education, television, and the recording industry, Ms. Redman is past president of the Clark County Music Teachers' Association and is District IV Vice President of the SW Washington region of the Wa shington State Music Teachers' Association. =0D=0A=
 The SW Washington Wind Symphony is a 55-member, professional quality concert band; 70% are music educators from the Clark county area and others are talented musicians from a variety of professions. “Our mission is to encourage a better understanding and appreciation of wind band music and support the performing arts in SW Washington,” said Richard Carr, co-founder and event coordinator. =0D=0A=
