 VANCOUVER, Wash. -- The Clark College Chorale, co-directed by Janet Reiter and April Duvic, and Women’s Choral Ensemble directed by April Duvic presents their end of term concert, Wednesday, June 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Fort Vancouver High School Auditorium, 5700 E. 18th St. The Women’s Ensemble will be joined by special guests, the Skyview Women’s Choir directed by Philip Denton. Highlights of the program include the Chorale performing Hallelujah from Beethoven’s “Mount of Olives,” the American classic, Home on the Range with Jean Kent on flute, and the gospel rouser Let Everything That Hath Breath by Jeffrey Ames with soloists Rosemary and Richard Warner. The Women’s Ensemble will perform several selections from the program they will sing on tour to South Korea later in June, including Amazing Grace arranged by Portland composer Joan Szymko, He’s Gone Away arranged by Clark College music professor Gordon Trousdale, a Native American piece entitled Lakota Wiyanki and the traditional Korean folksong Nodle Kangbyon. The Skyview Women will join the Clark Women’s Ensemble on the upbeat musical theatre piece The Rhythm of Life from “Sweet Charity.” Admission to the concert is free, with donations to the Music Department accepted at the door.=0D=0A=
 The Chorale announces auditions for new members for the summer as it prepares to perform at the College’s 75th Anniversary Festivities on October 1, 2008 in Gaiser Hall. The Chorale is comprised of Clark College students, faculty and staff, and singers from the community. Auditions will be held Tuesday, May 27, at 7:30 p.m. and Thursday, May 29, at 6:30 p.m. in room 104 of the Clark College Music Building on Fort Vancouver Way. =0D=0A=
